Federer is the Best07/05

Congratulation Rog.

Roger Federer has been crowned the greatest tennis champion that has ever lived as he passed Pete Sampras today with the most championships (grand slams) won with an astounding 15. The final was a doosey

Kudos to Andy Roddick who put on one of the best shows I have ever seen. The match went 5 sets and the last one went 30 games. Holy Crap! That is why I love Wimbledon.

Steve McNair Found Dead07/05

The former NFL quarterback is the next in a stream of "WTF" moments as of late with celebrities and death. He was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Also, there was another woman found dead near McNair's body with a single gunshot wound to the head. Sounds like a scorn mistress kind of story. Who knows... we'll just have to wait and see how this one unravels.

Michael Jackson Dies06/25

WHAT? What a weird story! Sure, he's creepy and eccentric but I never thought of him as "at risk". I am shocked and saddenned by the news of his passing. MJ, we will totally miss you. Your music has touched so many people and you were a true music genius of our time.

I'm sure my copy of Off the Wall will be getting quite a few extra plays in the upcoming weeks and months.

Imagine Nevada?s Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the United States, as a great sand pit, and imagine the population of the western United States as a colossal ostrich burying its head in the pit. And now, imagine the sand level dropping so fast that the willfully ignorant bird is forced to confront the fact that Lake Mead may actually become as dry as a sand pit in a decade.
